Aidan Donnelly was the beefcake firefighter of the year -- "Mr. 2008" to be exact. With a body like that he could have saved any woman he wanted, but the one woman he really couldn't cool his jets on was his recently deceased firefighting buddy, Blake Stafford's sister, Kenzie. Little did he know that disaster was going to strike again and bring them up close and personal. This on the heels of Blake being accused of being an arsonist was just a bit too unsettling. Aidan had no idea Kenzie was even in town until the night he saved her from the explosion on Blake's boat. Coincidence -- I think not!

Kenzie knew Blake better than anyone. Her brother was no arsonist, and she was going to prove it even if it cost her her life. And she came pretty darn close to that if it hadn't been for her old flame, Aidan. Of all of the men to be her rescuer, why did it have to be him? Warning bells should have been going off on so many different levels, but somehow Aidan was the only one she could trust. She had to know if he believed that Blake was guilty along with everyone else in town. Meanwhile, she had to find out why someone was desperately trying to get her out of town. As the clues mounted, Kenzie and Aidan fanned the flames of their past -- oh so hot!!!!!>

Jill Shalvis rises to the occasion in the Harlequin Blaze series. Her new book, FLASHBACK, steams up the pages with her hunk firefighter and his old flame. The perfect amount of suspense, add the exact amount of romance, and the ever so hot sex, and FLASHBACK has "read me again and again" written all over it.

SUMMARY

Firefighter Aidan Donnelly has always battled the flames with trademark icy calm. That is, until a blazing old flame returns—in the shape of sizzling soap star Mackenzie Stafford! Aidan wants to pour water over the unquenchable heat between them. But that just creates more steam…. Kenzie is not the delicate, fragile female she looks like. She has one clear objective, and nothing will stand in the way of her goal—well, nothing but the red-hot touch of a certain dangerously sexy fireman, that is!
