Why would a couple let a woman named Miss Fizzi from their small town plan their honeymoon? That's exactly the case when Flip Paxton marries "her Tom." Flip and Tom are given a "surprise" honeymoon -- complete with instructions! She's hopeful for relaxation and romance, but instead is thrust into mystery, intrigue and squabbling retreat owners.

In addition, Flip learns how little her friends trust her to truly be a stalwart adventurer (even with her brand-new husband) on her first trip away from Solace Glen. She also learns that Solace Glen is never very far away, emotionally or physically. Despite a honeymoon locale that doesn't quite meet her early expectations, Flip is quickly immersed in the gossip about the locals and other inhabitants of the aptly named Camp Iguana. Tom is perfectly content to leave the nose-butting to Flip as he fishes and enjoys his honeymoon to the utmost.

As usual, the citizens of Solace Glen crackle with lively energy, this time finally buoyed by the nuptials between Flip and "her Tom." Even those readers unfamiliar with this excellent series will quickly get into the swing of the fast-moving plot, particularly while experiencing Flip's various reactions as her surprise honeymoon is unveiled.
