Torie Bradshaw is living up to or should we say down to
everyone's expectation of her. Consider her choice of a
career -- that of a paparazzi -- is it any wonder her list of
possible enemies is endless. Well someone on that list has
decided to take revenge on Torie and heaven help anyone who
accidentally gets in the way. This murderous stalker is
methodically tracking her down and has her running for her
life. Problem is there really isn't anywhere safe or for
that matter anyone she can run to. She can't and won't
jeopardize the welfare of her twin sister Helen. Her father
treats her with distain and has labeled her the evil twin.
So the only choice is Matt Callahan who has all ready proven
his capabilities when he saved her from a few deadly
terrorists. There's just one fly in the ointment with Torie
seeking help from Matt. You see he might be carrying a
slight grudge over the fact that he was accidentally shot in
the leg by a pink revolver owned by none other then Torie --
which was actually in Torie's hand at the time. Also, the
injury to his leg ended his illustrious career of a
government agent. Neither Torie or Matt can deny the sparks
that fly whether they are together. It started when Matt
thought he was rescuing the brilliant scientist sister Helen
but wound up with Torie instead. No denying the sex is great
and probably the best he's ever experienced but he is
determined to keep any hint of commitment out of the
equation. And his weapon of choice in dealing with Torie is
to keep reminding her of her evil twin paparazzi reputation.
Torie's main issue is that of trust and although she feels
confident that Matt can be trusted with saving her life she
firmly believes he could never be trusted with her heart.
NEVER SAY NEVER by Geralyn Dawson will capture your
attention and her characters will win a place in your heart.
Torie Bradshaw has to be one of the most interesting
multi-dimensional characters you will ever meet. Quirky and
heart wrenching all at once she stays with you well after
you close this book. And Matt Callahan's tough guy is a
perfect match. I can't wait to revisit them and the rest of
the Callahan family in the next installment. The book is
fast paced and filled with comic relief that will make it
hard to put down. It's guaranteed to make you a Geralyn
Dawson fan.
When a stalker's sadistic threat sends photographer Torie
Bradshaw fleeing for her life, she can think of only one
safe haven: Matt Callahan. Rugged and captivating, the sexy
government operative saved her once before. Surely he'll
play her hero again. If only they hadn't parted under such
unfortunate circumstances.
Matt can't believe it when Torie invades his Texas home,
bringing danger, drama, and a designer dog with her. He is
busy battling old ghosts and newer wounds-this intriguing
beauty is a distraction he doesn't need. But when the
situation explodes, Matt must team with Torie to uncover the
identity of a killer. Otherwise, he stands to lose all the
things he never thought he wanted...
