Tucker Morgan has met his match with Skylar Daines. The pile on the poker table includes a marriage certificate and a very drunk Tucker bets he'll use it as soon as a blue eyed angel calls his name. Life is getting more and complicated as they all head toward Wyoming. And keeping a safe distance from Tucker is becoming more difficult everyday. As a trainer of wild horses Skylar exudes confidence but she doubts that she has what it will take to ease Tuckers wanderlust. Skylar has spent her life protecting her brother but how will she protect herself from dreaming of a future with the self proclaimed bachelor Tucker.

About three quarters of the way through the debut novel by Stacey Kayne I started to hope that Chance will have his own story and was pleasantly surprised when Kayne announces that it will be coming soon. The characters in Mustang Wild make you laugh and tug at your heartstrings. How can characters that have to be so tough just to survive in harsh times be extraordinarily gentle and caring. Skylar is a complex person; a gifted horse trainer, stubborn defender of her brother and passionate dreamer -- what an endearing combination. Tucker is a tough guy who is hanging on to his independence with all his might. Separately they are mighty but together they are formidable. If you like westerns MUSTANG WILD will fit the bill and have you waiting for more.
