Jack, a vampire, follows his true love into the depths of the underworld so she can see her dead son. With the help of many of their paranormal friends, they pool their resources to figure out how to stop the end of the world from happening and save Jack's heart in the process.

This fourth book in the Savannah Vampire series is funny, witty and full of emotion. Though I have not had the pleasure of reading the first three books in this series yet, I enjoyed getting to know the characters, and I love them all.
