Mystery Woman Sleuth

The only child of a wealthy couple, Olivia Chatham has her namesake hometown wrapped around her little finger, and rightfully so! Sweet, kind, and downright gracious, Livvy has the knack for spreading joy by anonymously doing good deeds to those less fortunate than herself. Of course, everyone knows she's the one behind it all, but they'd rather keep the secret than spoil her fun. According to Olivia, everyone has the right to be happy. Too bad she hasn't quite figured out how to heed her own advice. Thrice-divorced and now living at home with her parents, Olivia could use a little help in the love department to say the least. Tucker Monroe is somewhat of a drifter. With a less than idyllic childhood, he is trying his best to escape from his past as he embarks on what hopefully will be a bright future. Unbeknownst to him, landing in Chatham might just be the best thing that has ever happened to him. What could be better than a town full of friendly and outgoing people who seem to be more than happy to welcome him into the fold? For once, Tucker feels as if he finally belongs. When a seemingly innocent invitation to a holiday party lands him in none other than Olivia Chatham's mansion, Tucker finds himself rather smitten with the bubbly and unattached woman who definitely is the belle of the ball. Too bad he's not her date! Luckily for him, the lack of sparks between himself and his lady friend enables him to cut the evening short as he leaves the party with the quirky, but cute Olivia on his mind. As if the fates are on his side, later on that night he comes across Olivia broken-down by the side of the road and gets to play the role of her knight in shining armor. Little does she know that on the other side of town, his previous date is now dead! Who is this new man in Chatham? And more importantly, what does he really want with Olivia? OBLIVIOUS is a charming and delightful novel that humors and entertains the reader as the mystery masterfully unfolds. The second book by Cyndia Depre, it proves to be the perfect concoction of love, lust and intrigue.
