When Roslyn Loring decides to learn the art of seduction to make her future husband, the Earl of Haviland, fall in love with her, she turns to an old family friend who's one of London's most sought-after courtesans. And what better place to learn the craft than at the Cyprian's Ball. But Roslyn never thought for a moment that someone would mistake her for a lady for hire. However, one of her new brother-in-law's best friends, the Duke of Arden, makes just such an assumption. Drew Moncrief is a notorious rake, realizing that one day he will have to do his duty and marry to carry on the family name, but he plans to continue to take lovers.
Roslyn is sure the Earl of Haviland will make a fine husband, but she asks Drew if he will instruct her on what a man likes. Drew agrees to help, but he knows his best friend will kill him if he finds out. When Roslyn and Drew are caught together without a chaperone, Drew does the right thing and claims they are betrothed. Even though the betrothal is temporary, Roslyn and Drew get closer and closer. Roslyn calls everything off when she realizes Drew will never love her with his heart. When Drew finally realizes he does love Roslyn, will it be too late?
TO BED A BEAUTY is wild, sexy reading. I just love the characters; they play very well together and come alive on the page. This is the second story for the Loring sisters, and I'm looking forward to Lily's story. I'm sure it will be just as good as the first two.
