Romance Paranormal

Saber Wynter has been working for a local radio station for almost a year and renting an apartment from the station owner, Jesse Calhoun. She's on the run from the evil genius scientist who physically and psychically enhanced her when she was an infant. Saber thinks it's about time to leave her comfortable job and apartment, since she's getting the feeling that somebody is watching her. And if they are, she's as good as dead, because she'll never let them take her back to that lab/prison where she was before. Jesse Calhoun may be in a wheelchair, but he's still dangerous -- still a predator. A GhostWalker, Jesse was also enhanced and is part of an elite team. Besides working for the US military, the elite team is also searching for Dr. Whitney, the insane scientist who enhanced them all and has manipulated their lives for years, even going so far as to decide who they will and won't be attracted to and using pheromones to get the reactions from them he wants. Jesse and Saber may be drawn to one another, may even be falling in love, but learning that each has been used as a puppet by Dr. Whitney could put a hitch in their plans to be together. As could the knowledge that Whitney wants them together, so they'll produce offspring for his experiments. As always with Ms. Feehan's books, PREDATORY GAME was eagerly anticipated. And boy did it deliver! Chockfull of action, both shoot-'em-up and of the sensual variety, this book keeps you rockin' from the get-go. All the couples involved in the GhostWalker stories have been both tough and heart-wrenchingly perfect for one another, and Saber and Jesse rank right up there with the best of them. Tough as nails, but with a yearning heart-of-gold describes Saber, and Jesse can be described with one word: Alpha. Together they're a psi work of art and an unbeatable team. Come along for an intense, sensuous ride with the GhostWalkers, and hold on -- it's gonna be a bumpy one.
