Kerri and Cody's optimism and selfless behavior in the face of adversity could melt the heart of the most confirmed cynic, while Nathan King's pessimism and self-centered behavior are a wonderful contrast, making his slow change into the understanding nurturer that Kerri and Cody need all the more satisfying. In the skillful hands of Susan Mallery, love and hope create miracles, as well as a warm, deeply satisfying story. I highly recommend this book!
