Recovering from a fierce automobile accident, the handsome, but physically battered Greek tycoon, Andreas Petrakos, was suffering from recent amnesia, but one strong memory, scorched forever in his soul and heart, was his passion for his true love, the beautiful Rebecca Ainsworth. Called by his top assistant to come to Andreas' bedside to help him regain his memory, Becca also has that powerful memory of passion burning in her every memory. She knew she couldn't help but come to his side as much as she vowed she didn't want to be there. The harsh memory of being so arrogantly tossed aside and thrown off the island on their lovely wedding day before even the wedding champagne has begun to warm in the glasses still brought unbidden tears to her eyes. As she reels from the pain in her heart, Becca can barely sit so close to him and share in his smiles, but she knows she has to. If she doesn't, what will become of her little niece, Daisy? Despite the brave words she flung at him when she last left his idyllic island mansion a year ago brazenly declaring she had only done it for the money, Becca was loyal and determined she would tell Andreas the truth before asking for help. But, what if his anger still raged and he would condemn the little girl to a certain death if his help was denied? Can Becca survive that heartache again after all she has been through and the betrayals she has experienced? Kate Walker has penned another incredible Greek Tycoon novel that fits very well in the series while being an intriguing and exciting read on its own. The interplay between the main characters and their relationship, both past and present, is skillful developed and the little subplots interwoven in the story add enough tension for a gripping roller coaster emotional ride. You will enjoy!
