Isabel has lived her entire life trying to outrun her childhood and find the future that she's always dreamed about. Through hard work and determination she's worked her way up the ranks in the PR firm where her uncle is a VP. Since she's being molded to replace him when he retires, her main responsibility is to take care of the company's NASCAR interests.

Just when those dreams come into view she's faced with a part of her past, one that lasted only one night, but one she's never forgotten--the night she spent with Cade Garrison. She's relived that night many times over in her dreams; playing out different scenarios and dreaming of what might have been.

Cade is well known as NASCAR's most eligible bachelor. He's also known for the incident that nearly ended his NASCAR career; punching out the son of his leading sponsor. Now Cade is trying to move on and earn his way back to the Nextel Cup car that he was demoted from.

What Cade didn't expect was to be faced with Isabel again, and to find himself still feeling the attraction from that first meeting that left them both feeling awkward and unsure of themselves, and ultimately caused them to go in opposite directions and not acknowledge what happened between them.

Now, after all this time, they're both forced to acknowledge their feelings and decide how much they're willing to risk to be together. Isabel represents Cade's competitor, and in the world of NASCAR you don't mix business with pleasure.

They both know that a relationship between them is impossible and yet they can't seem to get past their growing attraction and the feelings that are pulling them together. So when push comes to shove it's a decision that must be made--career or relationship? Love or family loyalty?

NO HOLDING BACK is a wonderful introduction to the racing world and an even better romantic read. Throughout the story I found myself feeling not only the torment that both characters feel knowing that any relationship between them is doomed, but also the love that is pulling them together. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and would strongly recommend it to anyone who is looking for an easy, romantic read!!
