Jane Kurtz is so reliable and predictable. She is the average "Plain Jane" -- a pretty forgettable person actually. Forgettable to everyone except her new playboy neighbor, Perry Brewer. Perry just happened to say some really cruel things about Jane that she overheard. Now he is doing everything in his power to be the good neighbor. With Perry's words ringing in her ears, Jane is determined to change her life. Things get a little easier in that department when she and her co-workers win the big lottery. She can now afford a real makeover -- one that starts in say Las Vegas. Her inner wild child is calling her name, and she is going to heed the call there. Meanwhile, Perry's business may go down the tubes if he doesn't win the case that has been draining his funds for quite some time now. His mind may join it, if he can't get his neighbor out of it. Altogether a vacation would be good for him, especially one in Vegas, where he could be a good Samaritan and clear his conscience and mind. Finally, he could be the good neighbor to Jane and offer her a helping hand. What a difference a day makes -- and a makeover. It's no longer Plain Jane, and poor Perry is now loosing everything. How the tables can turn in Vegas. What happens in Vegas just may not stay in Vegas. There is a jackpot to be had, but who has the winning hand? Stephanie Bond does a great job in her "Blazing" new book SHE DID A BAD, BAD THING. I never wanted it to end. I, too, wanted to join Jane in doing bad, bad things. What a fantastic story line - every woman's fantasy. Each page sizzles with romance and fun. Let's go to Vegas.
