secrets that if he tells Brenna, he is sure she will turn
away in fear. Judd was taught to be a killer and any emotion
he allows, may kill him. As Judd and Brenna try to do their
best with their shaky relationship, there is a killer in
their midst who must get rid of Brenna. Will Judd be able to
protect Brenna, and will these two be able to experience
love even though it could possibly destroy them both?
CARESSED BY ICE is the third installment in this on-going
Psy series. Fans of the first two books will enjoy Judd and
Brenna's love story, including the other characters, old and
new who adds and enriches the story. Because Judd is so
repressed inside and out, it takes sometime for him and
Brenna to truly come together. Both of these characters are
damaged emotionally in their own way, but when they figure
out how to make their relationship work and act on their
passions for each other, the story really picks up. Nalini
Singh's skill in writing this new world has is an incredible
feat. I have been a fan of hers from the beginning and with
this latest story, she has secured my loyalty yet again. I
would not recommend readers to read CARESSED BY ICE first
since it is not a stand alone book since it is the third
with SLAVE TO SENSATION being the first and then VISIONS OF
HEAT being the second. CARESSED BY ICE is such a book that
is sexy, well written and the ultimate in sci-fi/romance
storytelling.
Brenna, a she-wolf Psy, was abducted by a serial killer-
and returned a monster. The only person who can help her
is Judd, a telekinetic and Council defector. But the
passion burning between them could push them both over the
edge of sanity.
