After leaving her position as a governess, Serena Lark's ambition becomes to train as a vampire hunter at the sides of England's most notorious vampire hunters, Lord Sommersby and Drake Swift. Though she is hesitant to admit it, one of the reasons she is so determined to become a vampire is because she secretly believes that she might be a vampiress. Serena is determined to prove her worth to their team and that she isn't what she believes she is by finding the journal of Vlad Dracul in a brothel frequented by vampires. When she's kidnapped during her attempts to recover the missive, Sommersby and Swift come to her rescue, making her more aware of their cunning and skill of vampire hunters, as well as their passion for the jobโand Serena.
When they agree to let her train with them, Serena finds herself becoming aroused by the constant presence of these two strong, fierce Alpha males. She also becomes even more determined to find out the truth about herself before the men she's falling for can find out about her secret. In a red hot paranormal romance filled with mystery and magic, Serena, Sommersby, and Swift figure out that a love shared by three might be the only thing to save them from dark forces they hunt every night.
BLOOD ROSE was a well-plotted, intriguing paranormal romance along the same lines of Laurell K. Hamilton's early work with the heat and excitement of Lora Leigh's new stuff. There is a lot going on in this story, including magic, mischief, and menages. It's also not for those who don't like their romances red hot. Sommersby, Serena, and Swift fall into a passionate romance and their shared love is what will help them to discover the truth about Serena's background. Together, they use their combined power to fight the forces of evil. BLOOD ROSE is a great story if you're in the mood for an entertaining paranormal romance, with an endearing heroine, and two strong heroes you can fall for yourself.
