Romance Paranormal | Paranormal

Shay Pearson's newfound profession as a demon hunter is evolving into a tight knit group of fellow hunters who are quickly becoming her family, a family that fights to survive and protect the Realm of Light against the evil of the world. Shay and her friends race against time to find out what Dominic Diavolo, another hunter's brother, knows about his destiny as a demon lord, and to see if they can convince him to become one of them. To accomplish this feat, Shay must get extremely close to him and explore the instant and powerful attraction she feels towards this stranger. Dominic "Nic" Diavolo is drawn to the gorgeous woman watching him exit the water; her gaze follows his length from top to bottom and demands him to speak to her. The wealthy diamond mine owner is taken with her beauty, and his desire to seduce her is strong. However, when he realizes she's after a black diamond located in his mine, and when she spins a crazy story about him being a future demon lord, it's just too much to take. Nic soon realizes he has an important and life-altering decision to make; which will he choose -- the life of a demon lord or a demon hunter? Jaci Burton is one of my favorite writers! If you haven't read anything of hers yet, I strongly suggest doing so now. She spins an intriguingly sexy story with the most incredible characters who capture your attention as they evolve. I am excited for the next adventure in her Demon Hunter series.

SUMMARY

Hunting demons for a living can have its moments. Especially when Shay Pearson’s latest quarry is the gorgeous bronzed surfer who just stepped out of the sea. Uncovering Nic Diavolo’s devilish side could prove Shay’s toughest assignment yet. Because while she’s acting as bait to snatch this sexy bad boy, Nic’s got a plan of seduction no woman—earthly or otherwise--can resist. Caught between two warring realms, Nic needs to stay alive long enough to figure out who his enemies are. That includes the beautiful hunter who won’t let him out of her sight. And something far worse: A force of evil with an almost unimaginable goal – possessing Nic’s very soul. But the hunt really heats up when a guy who’s hotter than Hades and a woman who’s afraid to love join forces, igniting an inferno of lust and longing that could send them into mortal danger...or straight into each other’s arms…
