Laura Manning and Jay Cutler are working on a secret serum
that they hope will have the opposite effect of Viagra. The
deadline for their research is fast approaching, so Jay
decides to try the serum on himself. Unfortunately, the
vials are switched, and Jay discovers that there's more to
Laura than the all-business lab partner she appears to be.
When Laura and Jay realize another company is attempting to
steal their files, they'll do all they can to secure their
work, including indulging in a budding new relationship
enriched with adventure, intrigue and doubt. Will Laura and
Jay find an everlasting love, or is it just the side effects
of the serum?
Cathryn Fox does a fabulous job of bringing sex and passion
to the pages of this smart and witty story. It's definitely
worth reading. And I'm looking forward to the sequel.
This review is from the trade paperback edition.
Dedicated scientist Laura Manning's I.Q. is off the
charts. But beneath her pristine white lab coat is a
curvaceous body that craves satisfaction. And it's hard
keeping her mind on the experiment and off what's under the
lab coat of her research partner, Jay Cutler, whom she's
working with to develop a libido suppressant for a society
gone sex-mad—especially when Jay offers to act as a human
guinea pig.
Laura's job is to entice Jay, to
determine if the suppressant tamps down his desires—but the
"antidote" only seems to heat them up . . . and there's only
one scandalous way to deal with it! With long days of
laboratory work giving way to sizzling nights of sensual
experimentation, soon their pleasure games are getting a bit
out of control.
But who in her right mind would
pull the plug on her man's libido when the loving is this
deliciously hot?
