Poor Sarah Dearly is a newly formed vampire in the second installment of this new vampire series by Michelle Rowen. She is having a quite a tough time adjusting to her new life as a cool undead chick. Her 600 year old boyfriend Thierry keeps giving her the cold shoulder while Michael Quinn who was once a vampire hunter now turned into one of the undead, is showing more of an interest in Sarah than she cares for. If that isn't bad enough, her apartment has been torched, she is constantly watching her back against other psycho vampire hunters and her pet werewolf Barkley is now walking around as a human again and doesn't mind being in the buff.

All she wants to do is live a normal life even though now she can only drink blood. And the fact that she is unemployed doesn't help her situation either. Sarah goes through daily ups and downs from her best friend Amy who thinks her own vampire husband is cheating on her to Thierry's centuries old wife Veronique who tells Sarah to have fun with her husband for the moment because he will never stay with her. Hopefully she can come stay unharmed and have a future with Thierry, as long as he doesn't try to drain her of all her blood in the heat of the moment.

FANGED & FABULOUS was a laugh a minute with Sarah who tries to adjust the best way she can to her new life. Her point of view is beyond hysterical as she goes along with her friends' antics as well as the other cast of characters that come and add to the bunch. Fans of the vampire genre, including this one with a humorous slant should enjoy this tale of a modern girl in the undead world.
