Annie Parks is on a mission when she finds herself on a cruise ship in the Pacific. She's spent a lot of time tracking the man responsible for her mother's withdrawal from the real world after he embezzled her fortune. For Annie's troubles, she gets dumped overboard.

Police Chief Kane Travers is on an Internal Affairs enforced "vacation" when he discovers a naked woman washed up on the beach. When Annie wakes up and learns she's been rescued by one of Kauai's finest, she's eager to move on and continue her search. Kane's cop sense warns him that this beauty claiming amnesia is hiding more than her identity and sets out to discover her secrets. When their pasts collide in an act of violence that threatens them both, only by working together can they hope to save themselves and others they care about.

YOUR MOUTH DRIVES ME CRAZY by HelenKay Dimon is an entertaining read. Annie and Kane are combustible together, unwillingly attracted to one another and battling the ghosts from their pasts that may very well prevent a future together. Their verbal sparring is witty. The author's love of the Hawaiian Islands is apparent throughout. I felt the villain was a bit of a caricature and his scenes a bit contrived; he didn't particularly impress me, but the ending was satisfying.
