While setting up a wedding reception, J.C. Riley

soon.
On his way to his family's cabin for a weekend fishing trip
with his brothers, Nik Angelis is called to the scene of a
shooting at a nearby church. When he arrives, he doesn't
expect to find a family friend involved, or the sassy
redhead hidden in a cupboard. When Nik is forced to be
J.C.'s bodyguard instead of investigating the shootings,
he's quite irritated. But the undeniable attraction he
feels for J.C. and the feeling that she's in grave danger,
pushes him to do his best to protect her. But does she need
protection from him?
THE COP is red hot and sizzling. The plot always has
something exciting going on, whether it's trying to out-
maneuver the bad guys or the discovery of love. The
characters are so real, I felt I was part of the story.
This is the second book in the investigation involving the
Angelis brothers. THE P.I. (Kit) was out last month and
book three, THE DEFENDER (Theo) is coming next month. I
highly recommend this entire series.
