It's never a dull moment for Florida's most feisty and oldest living senior sleuths. Gladdy Gold and the girls of the Gladdy Gold Detective Agency are on the trail of a Peeping Tom right at home in Lanai Gardens. Then a call comes in for Gladdy and a partner from the agency to go undercover at a posh villa in Palm Beach to expose a suspected killer. Gladdy chooses her sister Evvie and off they go. The setting may be luxurious, but the assignment is dangerous.

After acquiring cooperation from the management of Wilmington House, Gladdy and Evvie arrive (separately) to begin their new job. They promised to blend in but right off, Evvie uses all of her acting skills to flirt her way into the arms of the suspect. His name is Philip and Evvie thinks she's in love. This is not the way Gladdy wants things to go. Is he a killer and will Evvie be his next victim?

GETTING OLD IN CRIMINAL by Rita Lakin is outrageously funny and one of the best mysteries I've read in a long time. I hope Ms. Lakin keeps this series going.
