Romance Suspense

Dana Dupinsky puts battered women's needs before her own, risking her safety and her livelihood to hide them away in a safe house until they heal and are able to get away to a new life. Dana would be the first to admit that there are always risks involved, but she takes lots of precautions. At least, she thought she did. Dana has just taken in a woman who's more than she seems.

Ethan Buchanan stalked men in the Afghan desert. Now, as a computer security expert, he finds himself searching for his godson who's been kidnapped. Ethan has followed a trail of death that leads him to a Chicago bus station. Taking only moments at a time to sleep, the driven man searches security videos in the hope of glimpsing the face of the woman who's kidnapped the boy. Taking a much-needed break from looking at the multitudes of video, he comes to the aid of a woman who's been attacked in the bus station. One look into Dana's eyes and Ethan feels an uncanny sense of peace, a feeling he hasn't experienced in a great while. Inexplicably, even though time is of the utmost importance, Ethan can't help but want to spend time with Dana.

While Dana gets to know Ethan, he struggles to find his godson, and Dana continues to provide for the battered women. Life spirals out of control for Dana as one after another close friends are murdered and Dana's family member, Evie, is taken. Once Ethan tells Dana that the woman she took in is a multiple murderer, they work together, along with the police, to find Ethan's godson and Evie.

NOTHING TO FEAR is an exceptional read. Rose has delivered suspense so intense the thought of what the murderer is capable of doing and why she kills will give you chills. The love that develops between Dana and Ethan is warming and so needful considering their experiences. I definitely recommend NOTHING TO FEAR.
