Newbie investigative reporter Karen Glick is out to expose
the Billionaire Boys Club for tax fraud, a foursome of
greedy capitalists who've made their immense fortunes
through dirty means. After a posh dinner at the
Metropolitan Museum of Art's June fundraiser, she watches,
horrified, as Vampyr, a radical group planning to murder
each of the Billionaire Boys, poisons her first interviewee.
Digging more deeply into the story is a necessity, but in
doing so, she becomes Vampyr's fifth target. As Karen
fights to stay alive, she interviews a variety of colorful
characters, from a janitor at her employer Profit, to the
stunning ex-ballet dancer and now-wife of one of the
Billionaire Boys, Mercedes Morgan.
With a cast of vibrant characters set in the wildly
adventurous New York City boroughs, TOO RICH TO LIVE is a
perfect rainy day read.
A financial reporter is drawn into a web of deceit when she
investigates the deaths of members of a secretive
association called the Billionaire Boys Club.
