Dean "Havoc" Conor is one of the best SBC fighters, a heavy weight champion with a no-nonsense attitude. He has no ties that bind him and no unwanted obligations. And he likes it this way. He'd never admit that the letter he's just received from a long-lost sister affects him more deeply than he'd imagined. At least, he wouldn't admit it before he makes a trip to Harmony, Kentucky, his boyhood town. Dean plans to meet the two sisters he was taken away from as a young boy, and then head back to his usual life.
However, when Dean arrives in Harmony, he meets Eve, his sister Camille's best friend, and his life will never be the same. Even though her family is a big fan of "Havoc" and SBC fighting, Eve isn't a groupie; she's a successful, independent businesswoman.
Eve affects Dean in a way no other woman ever has and he finds himself confiding in her. Dean still plans on leaving Harmony, but his sisters, Camille and Jacki, have other ideas. Having just met their big brother, they are hopeful they can be a family. Camille, the mothering type, knows nothing of Dean's sport, but she's excited to learn everything she can about her big brother. And Jacki is more like her brother than she imagined.
Dean's sisters are carving their way right into his heart. Protective feelings etch their way closer and closer until Dean finds himself buying a car, fixing a roof and checking out the men in his sisters' lives. But Harmony holds danger for the family, and Dean has made it his job to protect them.
Lori Foster captures the tentative feelings among siblings who've just met and entertains us with Dean and Eve's exquisite love scenes. I loved reading Dean's point of view along with the women's. Another winner for this author.
Orphaned and torn from his sisters as a boy, sexy extreme
wrestler Dean "Havoc" Conor gets a letter revealing how
much his siblings want him back in Harmony, Kentucky. To
stop his sister from marrying a sleazeball, Dean finds
himself teaming up with her pretty-but-smart-mouthed friend
Eve-who's heard of Havoc's reputation and doesn't need some
hunk trampling on her heart. Now all Dean has to do is
protect his sisters, win Eve over, and expose a devious
criminal. And he thought winning the heavyweight belt was
hard.
