Romance Paranormal

Roman Draganesti makes the world a better place, in more ways than one. His invention of synthetic blood provides a safe and easy alternative to the world of medicine, but really, that's just a side effect, because the real reason he invented synthetic blood is to keep his fellow vampires from feasting on humans. You see, Roman was a monk, a man of God, when he was brutally infected 500 years ago. He believes that his soul is damned to hell, that God has abandoned him for good. When Roman breaks one of his fangs, his only hope is to find an all-night dentistry, because once he sleeps, his body will heal itself and his fang will not be able to be reattached.

Shanna Whelan is a dentist. After witnessing her best friend's brutal murder, Shanna entered the witness protection program, and her career as a dentist is the only thing she can take with her. She's left behind her identity, her family and friends, and yet the one thing she has left terrifies her. Shanna is afraid of blood. Working as an all-night dentist, Shanna is bored, hardly ever has customers and hardly ever sees blood.

When Roman arrives at Shanna's office, all he wants is for her to fix his tooth. But that will have to wait, because the Russian mob has finally found her. Soon all Roman wants is to protect Shanna. He finds himself feeling things he never expected to feel again, but how can he tell Shanna this when she doesn't even know he's a vampire?

When Shanna finally finds out, will she be able to accept Roman as he is? Can Roman accept himself? Ms. Sparks puts a refreshing twist on vampire tales in this fast-paced, pleasantly delightful page-turner.

SUMMARY

Roman Draganesti is charming, handsome, rich ... he's also a vampire. But this vampire just lost one of his fangs sinking his teeth into something he shouldn't have. Now he has one night to find a dentist before his natural healing abilities close the wound, leaving him a lop-sided eater for all eternity.

Things aren't going well for Shanna Whelan, either. After witnessing a gruesome murder, she's next on the mob's hit list. And her career as a dentist appears to be on a downward spiral because she's afraid of blood. When Roman rescues her from an assassination attempt, she wonders if she's found the one man who can keep her alive. Though the attraction between them is immediate and hot, can Shanna conquer her fear of blood to fix Roman's fang? And if she does, what will prevent Roman from using his fangs on her ... ?
