Amanda Rykowsky is a woman with a plan. A soon-to-be psychologist, she's going to finish her internship with sex therapist Dr. Gloria Tredway then head to graduate school in Boston. Between studying, bartending and her internship, there's no time left for socializing.

Stockbroker William Sloan wants to get to know this beauty better, especially after an encounter in the stairwell of the office building where they both work.
