Zara Kingston is a fiercely independent wildlife photographer whose works had already won renown despite her youth. She had come to Zaddara to get more images as well as to find out any information she could about what had happened to her parents in that fatal accident caused by the now reigning Sheikh Shahin -- a man many considered to be far more ruthless than his father. But, she soon shifts from the animal life and captures the naked image of a handsome desert leader ready to take a swim.

The flash of her camera gives away her hidden position and his bodyguard takes her away to meet his master when an unexpected sandstorm hits. Caught by both the storm and the traditions of his Bedouin heritage, Shahin brings her to his tent to wait out the storm's destructive force. Enchanted by her grit, courage and beauty, he doesn't reveal his identity but uses instead his childhood name of Abbas. As they spend time together, they both start to relax and flirt with each other. As they kiss passionately, Abbas nearly completes his seduction when he realizes she is still an innocent girl and leaves her abruptly. Are they now doomed to stay apart or will fate allow a bigger picture to develop?

Susan Stephens has crafted a sexy, fast paced plot with two very strong willed people, both intent on having their own way. While I found the premise for their meeting a bit farfetched, it still makes for a great read and a delightful fantasy to dream about. You will delight in the twists of fate and the erotic action in this little battle of wills and emotions.
