Counts Kazimir Dimitre Vasilov and Gavril Sevastjan
Roschkov travel to the ancient city of Braunschweig to seek
the powerful ancient relic -- each of them with their own
reason for wanting possession of the artifact. The quest
will lead Kazimir and Gavril to encounter the von Wolfram
family and Wolfram Castle, which is steeped in ancient
family history and secrets.
Nikolas von Wolfram doesn't understand the changes
happening within him after the arrival of the Russians.
He's begun to feel a strong urge to run hard and fast
through the forest and his senses are sharpened. Confused
and desperate, Nikolas decides to go to his grandmother,
Countess Uta, for answers and is amazed at what she has to
say.
Strangers, brought together by different circumstances but
alike in many ways, must learn to trust each other and band
together for support and strength to defeat the evil that
the ancient relic promises to unleash, threatening not only
their lives, but those of whom they love.
Donna Lea Simpson is absolutely brilliant! Her
continuing plot of the Wolfram characters is intriguing and
exhilarating. I am extremely eager to read her next novel
to find out what transpires next.
Alarmed by the wolves who haunt her dreams, beautiful
Melisande Davidovich can't help but be intrigued by the
handsome stranger who's mysteriously appeared at Wolfram
Castle. In spite of the dark secret he is obviously
hiding - and the danger he may pose - Count Kazimir
Vasilov captivates Melisande's body and soul.
But when Melisande's life is endagered by a madman,
Kazimir must find a way to save her - without awakening
the disaster an ancient legend portends.
