Fresh Fiction Review

No Longer Dreams

Science Fiction | Horror | Fantasy

This illustrated collection of fantasy, horror, poetry and science fiction has written works by John C. Wright, Darrell Schweitzer, CJ Henderson, Will McDermott, Tee Morris, Tony Ruggerio, Danielle Ackley-McPhail, L. Jagi Lamplighter, Jeff Lyman, Dan Foley, Melanie Florence, Robin M. Buehler, Mike McPhail, Patti Kinlock and many others, as well as black and white illustrations by artists Theo Black, Ruth Lampi, Erica Henderson and Edward J. Reed. The tone of the book changes from author to author, and like all anthologies, there are some pieces you'll like better than others. Some light, some dark, some in-between, there's something for every taste. The authors were unknown to me, but I didn't think it was any more uneven than other anthologies I've purchased, and I tend to buy a lot of them. NO LONGER DREAMS is available now and has been printed in an attractive trade paper edition. It's a small press, so you may have to search it out. Their web address is http://www.litecircle.org
