Until Death Do Us Part by Sherrilyn Kenyon - Esperetta is the daughter of the original House of Dracula of Romania. Centuries ago, she was bound to her husband, Velkan. When he became a Dark-Hunter, she, too, became immortal, the last thing she wanted. Now, an old evil has returned and they must work together to vanquish it, as well as deal with the passion each has avoided for centuries.
Ride the Night Wind by L.A. Banks - Jose Ciponte has had strange dreams all his life of a beautiful woman and a dark, deadly enemy. Juanita has had the same dreams, with Jose in the starring role. Now they've been thrown together and must fight to keep the world safe from the deadly force they've dreamed about for years.
The Gift by Susan Squires - Major Davis Ware has come home to England after a horrible experience with vampires in North Africa. All he wants is a calm life in the English countryside with Emma Fairchild. But duty calls him back to battle the vampires, so he returns to the fray, never dreaming Emma will follow him and become embroiled in the war to save humanity.
The Forgotten One by Ronda Thompson - Lady Ann Baldwin just wants to be bad -- a little bad. But when Warrick arrives to run her uncle's stables, she may find she's in over her head and that Warrick is too hot to handle. And the horror that stalks Warrick's life will soon impact them both.
This was a very interesting grouping of short stories, including both historical and contemporary romances. Until Death Do Us Part is an installment in Ms. Kenyon's Dark-Hunter series, The Gift is a short addition to Ms. Squires' Regency vampire series, and The Forgotten One picks up the storyline in Ms. Thompson's Wild Wulfs of London series. Ms. Banks' Ride the Night Wind is part of her Vampire Huntress Legends series and tells about how lovers/Guardians Jose and Juanita first met. It was great having all these novellas together in one volume; it kept the stories going for me while waiting for the next full length novel. Pick this up if you've enjoyed the previous books in any of these series, or if you'd like a taste of what these excellent authors have to offer. My guess is after you've read this collection, you'll want to indulge in all the wonderful books of each series. A good read.
