Billionaire David Clemente is back on the market and it takes no fewer than approximately three seconds for the ex- wives of Colina Linda, California, to find out. With their impeccably manicured claws out, each will vie for the prime position as trophy wife number...well really, who's counting?

Contestant number one: Jessica DiSantini. Recently divorced from her neurosurgeon husband of 16 years, it's been one blow after another during the last few months. Not only did her husband leave her for one of his brain surgery patients, she's pregnant with his twins and his new marriage is only a week away. If that wasn't soul-crushing enough, Michael is also threatening to lower his alimony payments and wants to buy out her mortgage so that their children "won't feel displaced," but effectively turning her out on her Prada clad rear. David sounds like a pretty good rebound right about now.

Contestant number two: Lally Chandler, former Bond girl (and not even a memorable one at that) and thrice divorced, is looking for a new man to sink her teeth into. Hoping to snag David before her Botox wears out and her true age shows, Lally does her best to manipulate everyone in her incestuous circle to close the trap on David.

Contestant number three: Caitlin Latch is a single mom living on the skirts of Colina Linda. Working for a rape crisis center and merely passing for rich and fabulous, Caitlin hopes to win David over with her good looks, street smarts and a few little white lies.

Contestant number four: Janey Martinez. Known for her amazing contacts and her powers of gossip, Janey is the most connected person in Colina Linda. Although her plain features are nothing to write home about, with a little help from Lally and her new dermatologist, Janey is the new hottest body in the area. Will that be enough to catch David's eye?

Snarky and catty, TO CATCH A HUSBAND shows the dark and desperate side of dating in Southern California. Fans of the BBC hit Footballers' Wive$ and The Bachelor will enjoy this first book in the Ex-Wives series by Lindsay Graves.

SUMMARY

In the exclusive southern California community of Colina Linda, money means everything. But snagging a man who has money means even more. When billionaire David Clemente files for divorce, his newly single status is the gossip among the ladies-who-lunch. Hot on the chase are four of the town’s most eligible ex-wives: peppy Lally Chandler, a former Bond girl and the queen bee of local society, with three celebrity ex-husbands in her wake; Jessica DiSantini, a lapsed lawyer and mother of two with a nice settlement from her cheating spouse and his precious collection of Cabernet to numb the pain; Caitlin Latch, a desperate-to-fit-in single mom with a body that makes Barbie look like Ken; and locally born and bred Janey Martinez, a dowdy duckling with an extensive pack of socially prominent relations.

Doing whatever it takes to catch the eligible David’s attention and eliminate the competition, each woman is determined to be the first–and the last–to date Mr. (Luxury) Dreamboat.

Which of the four ex-wives will find true love? The answer is revealed in this hilariously funny, sarcastically witty, and deliciously catty novel about the never-ending pursuit of happiness. Translation: an even bigger bank account.
