1940. War has come to England. Reggie, Freddie, Henry, Dougie, Willy and (“please don’t call me Jackie”) Jack, are six young teenagers desperate to join the British Boy Scouts to do their bit for the home front. After being rejected from the local Ronan Academy troop for being orphans, the six press on and form their own troop, the Scouts of St. Michael, named after the patron of their boy’s home. This doesn’t go over well with the village’s official Ronan Academy Boy Scout troop. One night during an air raid, the six mount an unmanned anti-aircraft gun and shoot down an attacking dive bomber. Like lightening, news of their bravery and resourcefulness reaches the ears of Lord Robert Baden-Powell, founder of the Boy Scouts, Prime Minister Winston Churchill, and even King George VI—as well as leaders of the newly formed Special Operations Executive—responsible for all action behind enemy lines. A situation has arisen that demands immediate action. A unit of the Hitler Youth has gone rogue, committing brutal atrocities in occupied territories, led by one 16-year-old Thomas Peter Heydrich, a.k.a. ‘The Nazi Price,’ nephew of notorious SS and Reich Security Chief Reinhard Heydrich and godson to Hitler himself. To answer this threat, the SOE has devised a daring plan. The six brave boys may be the linchpin of the entire operation … if they’re willing to answer the king’s call.
