Consigned to a dreary life as a servant in her own home, Morgana longs for the chance to meet other young people. To her joy a fairy from the Otherworld grants her wish, but there are disappointing limitations. She must not talk to anyone, and she must leave when the bells toll midnight.
Deciding a piece of a slice is better than none, she goes to the fair anyway and meets the man of her dreams. It seems there can be no happily ever after for Morgana, however, for the man is Prince Keir, heir to the throne, and he can only marry a princess....
