Romance Historical
Captain Robert Ashton, Earl of Darington, knows finding a
bride in London will not be easy—not since he has been
notoriously dubbed as the "Pirate Earl". What he didn't
expect was to get abducted—and to have his escape go
horribly awry when an innocent lady gets caught in the
crossfire. Amateur physician Emma St. James is on her way to meet
her betrothed when she is rescued by an injured
gentleman. Despite her shock after discovering he is the
Pirate Earl, Emma feels drawn to the man who saved her
life. Duty forces them apart, but when they meet again on
the high seas, Darington will risk all—his fortune, his
name, and even his life to keep her safe.

Re: Earl Interrupted
I like his first thoughts, LOL... (Colleen Conklin 8:42pm January 3, 2018)
He has beautiful and very lovely thoughts which I love. You are my one and only. (Sharon Berger 11:17am January 4, 2018)
If anyone takes me back to reality, it'll be by force, too! (Richard Brandt 2:36am January 6, 2018)
He seems to be a no-nonsense character so he would be best at just coming out and asking her to be his wife. No frills or embellishmebns necessary . (Joy Isley 12:44pm January 6, 2018)

I like them all but I think the first line of the second one was the best.
"With your own blessed hands, you have healed me and given me back my life." He should just say then I would be ever honored if you will be my wife.
I have a thing for rhyming lol. (Jeannie Platt 1:21pm January 7, 2018)
I think he should announce they are going to be married. Don't ask, but tell her. lol (Sally Baldwin 1:31pm January 7, 2018)
Best to keep it simple. The first line of the first one, then out with it. Maybe the Laudanum was affecting him some. (Nancy Luebke 4:31pm January 7, 2018)
I don't like any of them. They sound too desperate. He should just tell her what he feels without all the embellishments. (Melanie Rosen 6:58pm January 7, 2018)
I like his first proposal. If someone called me the loveliest creature ever born, I'd say yes for sure. (Nancy Marcho 7:32pm January 7, 2018)
keep it simple (Gary Bronstein 8:52pm January 7, 2018)
Do it the traditional way. Get down on one knee, tell her he loves her and ask her to marry him. (Anna Speed 11:38am January 8, 2018)
straightforward & honest - 'Marry me - please' (Diane Sallans 11:49am January 8, 2018)
straightforward works for me (Debbi Shaw 10:20pm January 8, 2018)
