Not merely does it look lovely, it heightens our awareness of anticipation. It also appears super-posh, and every once in a while that can't be a terrible thing.
So why can we decant? Which wines do we make a point of decanting? How does one really get it done?
WHY DECANT? You will find two main reasons for decanting.
This sediment is totally harmless and natural, although not so agreeable in the mouth. The reason for decanting here will be to make certain the wine pours clear and bright.
