After 32 years of marriage, there are a lot of things that
are said!! lol One thing that you missed for both sides
was - I made other plans for tonight, and am going out.
It's not a date, of course, just plans with their friends.
There are times I go out with my Girlfriends, because we
need to do something, or my Husband had to go out to help
his Friend who didn't drive. I had sick Parents to take
care of - one who had Alzheimer's, and I knew he didn't want
to come along all the time. Anyway, your posting made my
day, and I'm sure your book will make my night!!

Enjoyed reading the Five Things Lists. About the only ones unmentioned are, "I have a bad headache, I have to get up really early in the morning, I really need a shower, or I've had a long day." The old stand-by excuses. Sounds like quite an interesting story.
