Re: Braving Fate
Being an animal lover myself, and especially a cat lover, you know that I enjoyed reading your posting!! I currently own 2 badass cats of my own, when provoked, who are brother and sister from a litter of 4. They are spoiled beyond comprehension, and my Husband, who was more of a dog lover, has gone over to the other side, and has now become more of a cat lover himself!! Each of my cats has their own personality, along with their own quirks, and every day they do things to make us laugh (most of the time). Both of our cats, Gizmo and Sugar Ray, get that look on their faces, quite similar to that of Grumpy Cat, and it makes me wonder if they're deep in thought, or in a bad mood. You never know, because my female, Gizmo, can have quite a temper tantrum at times!! I wouldn't give either one of them up for the world!! Your books are just the ticket to be reading while I curl up with my babies, and just relax this coming Winter!! Once the snow flies, I'll probably be snowed in, and to have a good book is one of the requirements where I live. Thank you for making me smile this morning, along with my Husband, who heard your posting through me. (Peggy Roberson 10:41am November 13, 2014)
Hi Peggy! Thanks for stopping by and saying hi! I'm not surprised your husband was won over to the cat side. My husband was neutral about cats until he met Chairman Meow. The Chairman definitely turned him into one of us. Now we have three cats - Kitty, Mouse, and Poa - all of whom showed up outside of our house at some point and explained that I was their new mom. They keep me company while I'm writing. I'd go nuts without them, I think. Gizmo and Sugar ray sound like excellent cats. I love Grumpy Cat - she's a pretty good counterpart to the more positive Lil Bub. I'm glad you and your husband liked my post, and I hope you like my books too! Have a lovely winter! Hope it's not too cold where you are!! (Linsey Hall 8:40pm November 13, 2014)
