I can relate to your posting today, but on a different
level. Your posting reminded me of what it was like growing
up, and I hope your book will help other girls, who are
going through something similar right now. It took the
death of my parents, to finally come to terms of my grief,
and we're talking decades after my Hell!! I'm just now
trying to deal with it, but know I won't be hurt anymore.

Awesome excerpt Krystal, I LOVE how Haley counts the number of steps into her private hell. The character of Haley just grabs & won't let go of me as the reader.

Hi Sarah, the cover picture is a representation of some of the horror that
takes place in the novel. While there is a lot of my personal pain woven
into the story, it is still a thriller with a killer.

I think that when everyone looks back at their childhood,
they look back at happy times, but also find things that
weren't quite as happy as they thought they were. I
actually have things in mine that haunt me today, although
I've tried to bury those things as far down as I can. Right
now I've considered writing a book, so I can wrestle these
demons once and for all, to put them to rest. I would love
to read your book, nonetheless, to read part of your story,
and see how you handled yours. Thank you for such a
brutally honest posting!! You're so young to have gone
through such hardship, and come out swinging!! It has made
you that much stronger.
