That is a great picture. Thanks. And love the story. I have read of several people raising chickens. (Pam Howell 7:36am May 1, 2014)
sounds like a good read. thanks for the giveaway. (Barbara Studer 12:18pm May 1, 2014)
That reminds me of and I Love Lucy show when the Mertz helped with the chickens on the farm for Lucy... Good Luck.. hope you get eggs soon.. (Tina Ullrich 12:49pm May 1, 2014)
OH my... my family has thought about getting chickens, but have not done so yet. (Colleen Conklin 12:59pm May 1, 2014)
*snickering* LaBrown James. We had to resist my desire for hens this year as supposedly our city passed a ban on chickens. But man are chicks cute. You're gonna be waiting a while for that omelette. ;) (Rhianna Walker 1:51pm May 1, 2014)
I love that picture it reminds me of my house. The sitting room window is right on the street and people are always looking into the house when they walk past. (Jen Barnard 11:01pm May 1, 2014)
That's a pretty funny story; I feel your pain, though, having to deal with baby chicks in the house! (Janie McGaugh 11:22pm May 1, 2014)
I had to laugh at that picture. My son's bearded dragon would be really frustrated at not being able to get at the chicks. :-)
Love the names your boys came up with! (Glenda Martillotti 11:23pm May 1, 2014)
"....wait, wait. You can't go to work yet! You have to listen to this", I say to my husband and daughter as they head out the door. Of course, I was laughing so hard I could hardly speak. Too funny! Good luck on getting those eggs. (Debbie Kelly 1:31pm May 3, 2014)
My parents were both raised on farms, every summer we visited my grandparents and those days were some of the happiest of my life. Sadly, I work with inner city kids who have no idea where their food comes from. So every year I teach about farm animals and agriculture. Charlotte's Web is wonderful, but the fact is, we do eat bacon! ;-) (Marcia Berbeza 8:51pm May 4, 2014)
Thanks so much ladies! (Susannah Scott 11:57am May 7, 2014)
What a great chick story! Those are really going to be very expensive eggs. (Bonnie H 9:59pm May 7, 2014)
