Emma's old friend getting married in their hometown of Cupid, Texas, and to Emma's dismay, she wants Emma to be her Maid of Honor. Going back to Cupid, though, means seeing Tucker, the guy she married right out of high school and left four months later. Emma's a successful television journalist now and despite her shock at learning she and Tucker AREN'T divorced, she also can't stop aching for him.
Emma reluctantly returns to Cupid, Texas, stealing time from her career as a television journalist, because her friend begs her.
