Mystery

The capital city of Texas is awash in bumper stickers, T- shirts and promotional banners beseeching the world to "Keep Austin Weird," a command that comes to hilarious fruition when Detective Sergeant Craig Rylander finds himself confronted with a mystery involving a group of creative senior women do-gooders, the FM signal of a right-wing radio host, an itinerant street guitar picker bent on stalking and reporting on the senior women, the problem-solving skills of a former Mafia button man, unscrupulous business practices of a rodeo-queen-led repossession operation, and an insurance-fraud scheme concocted by a handsome and convincing fallen evangelical televangelist. Mayhem ensues. Craig may be able to unravel the mystery . . . if he can stop laughing long enough.
