I didn't start my writing experience until my kids were ages
4+, and I think it's great that you were able to get those
words out during such a big change in your life. It's hard
to ignore those voices in your head sometimes.

This was beautiful, Lizzy! The Mother/daughter relationship in
EWY was beautiful as well. I loved hearing this, makes me want
to squeeze my kiddos. But it's naptime, so I'll save that for
later, lol.

I too admit I'm a writer that doesn't know what I'm doing. My characters are the ones that take control and leave me with no say.

I think some of the best books written are the ones that involve your own experiences and adventures within your family as inspiration and then woven into a story. I can recall so many episodes throughout my life that would certainly spin into a great book. I'm sure it gets easier with each book you sit down to write. I absolutely love the cover...beautiful!
