'Got a chuckle out of your double negatives. for that is a mistake made so often. I cringe each time I hear a football coach on TV say, "My team played good today."

Great post, Jeff. Your tidbit about Alfred Hitchcock brought back memories as my mother told me the same thing! I enjoyed the excerpts. I love that authors include things that have meaning to them. It really serves to make for richer characterization.

You have an excerptional talent to be able to take the written word, and have fun with it, while being able to write a story and keep the reader interested all the while.
