Romance Paranormal
Private investigator Grace tracks a kidnapped child to
middle-of-nowhere Iowa. Encountering a strange creature she
knows can't be a local animal, she doesn't need her psychic
abilities to figure out the sleepy town is not what it
seems. When she meets the intriguing Aiden, she's plunged
into a world of Norse gods and fire demons where the Wild
Hunt still rides the night. Aiden needs Grace's help to cross the portal between worlds
and rescue his daughter. Grace is unlike any woman he's ever
met. He's drawn to her courage, distressed by her
vulnerability and doubtful of her motives. But he knows that
her visions are the key to defeating the enemy and bringing
everyone home alive. Grace wants a future with Aiden, even if it means she'll
never have a normal life. When a test run to the portal
takes a terrifying turn, they must learn to finally trust
each other or Aiden's daughter, and their chance at love,
will be lost forever...

Re: Demon Crossings
I am all about the fresh start and new beginnings. No matter how firmly I tell myself that everyday is a new beginning there's just something about a new year that makes it so much cleaner. Your book sounds like a wonderful read filled with hope and new beginnings! Good luck and happy writing! (Tracie Travis 12:12pm January 5, 2012)

I believe that we all hope and pray that 2012 will be an improvement over 2011! Blessings, Marjorie (Marjorie Carmony 6:02am January 5, 2012)

I hope that I survive the credit crunch! I love the sound of this book, it's a fantastic story line and not one I have read about before. (Barbara Hanson 8:34am January 5, 2012)
I haven't read any PR with a Norse backdrop, sounds interesting.
I don't really pay much attention to the changing of years except for grumbling when I write the wrong date on checks. (Anne Muller 8:34am January 5, 2012)
Thank you, everyone! I'm not really one to make a list of resolutions but I do find myself cleaning out the office today and reorganizing everything. I'm trying to eat healthier. After the holiday craziness, I need to get back on track. (Eleri Stone 9:11am January 5, 2012)
I agree that the New Year is all about fresh starts and new beginnings. Yes, Iowa can be dreary this time of year, but here it is, Jan. 5, and it's going to be 60 degrees. It's wonderful. Here's to bright, happy new beginnings. Sounds like a a great book. Can't wait to read it. (Joanne Balinski 9:29am January 5, 2012)
First of all, I'm hoping that somebody will get me an e-reader, since I won't be able to purchase one, new or used. That way I'll be able to get into these contests that are for e-copies of books. I prefer holding a real book in my hands, but I suppose this is the new way of the world, so I'll have to give it a shot. Second, I am hoping for less grief in my life this year. I have wonderful hopes and dreams that I'd like to fulfill, and it seems that there are a few people that are causing static and grief in my life at the most opportune time, and that is causing me to postpone things that would benefit others. This year nothing is going to stop me!! Have a wonderful New Year!! I would love to win your contest, but unfortunately will have to wait for a hard copy of the book. (Peggy Roberson 9:52am January 5, 2012)
I started Demon Crossings this morning and I love it already! Always love your writing.
(How did I NOT know you live in Iowa?!) (Taryn Kincaid 12:31pm January 5, 2012)
I hope that this year brings better health for everyone. My husband and I were both sick last year so I hope that our new beginnings means better health. (Kathleen Yohanna 1:16pm January 5, 2012)

I'm all about new beginnings. I'm a teacher, and I always tell my students that get in trouble and are upset that tomorrow is a new day and chance to make different choices. (Tabitha Monroe 4:51pm January 5, 2012)
Sounds really good...I want to see how the characters interact with each other... (Colleen Conklin 5:12pm January 5, 2012)
Eleri, your book sounds very good. I do not own any type of ereader, either. I'm uncertain if I will get one. I really prefer reading my books in hard copy, but then I haven't ever owned one to know if I'd like reading my books this way. I haven't heard any comments from anyone about these, except for yours, and I'm sure they're wonderful. I hope this new year brings around more jobs in our country, so less people have to struggle to keep a roof over their heads. It saddens me greatly for the people that have lost their homes and belongings, because they couldn't find a job anywhere after closings, layoffs, or cut-backs. So that is my hope for the new year! Thanks for your excerpt about your new book. I enjoyed reading it. (Linda Luinstra 5:15pm January 5, 2012)
Wow, I love this story! I have to agree with everyone's posting about new beginnings! (Felicia Ciaudelli 5:23pm January 5, 2012)
This sounds great! (Lisa Elwood 6:58pm January 5, 2012)
Love Love Love this and looking forward to reading it. (Kathleen Jones 7:32pm January 5, 2012)
Moving to a new state can be unique and sometimes difficult. Who can one trust and why should one trust them, yet some places one can find new friends quickly and others will treat you as a strangerrrr, if you know what I mean. Every choice brings a new adventure and who is ever prepared. (David Christian 8:51pm January 5, 2012)
