The mechanics were underlined uncomplicated (someone will say that
it is even primitive), but interesting riddles, music and unusual visual
style were all redeemed. Strange buildings, dubious purpose
machinery, snail with a hammer, squirrel with a girl's face - the games
resembled either a fairy tale or a dream.

Of course, for the years that have passed since the official
announcement of Samorost3 in 2013, and with the release of the first
part, the genre has changed a lot. Even in Machinarium and Botanicula
appeared many elements of modern quests and advenchur. But in his
new work Yakub basically ignores all this: after thirteen years before us
all the same touching story in minimalist tones, where a spaceship can
be built from a bath and a plastic bottle, rare dialogues are replaced
with pictures, and most of the player's actions are reduced to "clicking
»On the active points.
