THE DREAMSELLER: THE CALLING is an inspirational fable
about a mysterious man who calls himself the Dreamseller.
Wherever he goes, The Dreamseller enchants people, stirs up
trouble, and inspires his listeners to search for the heart
of the human soul. Every person he meets is someone who has
abandoned their dreams and is going through a difficult
time: a professor, an alcoholic, a thief, an
attention-seeking “miracle worker,” a severe obsessive
compulsive, a top fashion model, a renowned anthropologist
and others—all have abandoned their dreams. Through his
questioning, he helps them to get to the root of their
unhappiness and overcome their turmoil. Enchanted by this
mysterious man, they follow him on his spiritual journey,
and begin to believe in their dreams again. This book will make you laugh and cry, but above all, it
will make you reflect on the purpose of your life and value
the people around you. When so much in today's world seems
uncertain--people struggle to find or hold jobs, acts of
political and ideological hatred happen right in our midst,
and natural disasters devastate us—this books comes at a
perfect time. The message of uncovering the roots of our
unhappiness and living our dreams, because life is so short,
is essential. Publishers Weekly comments on Cury's "fresh
voice and sense of humor" and calls THE DREAMSELLER "A
delightful story".

Re: The Dreamseller: The Calling
This fascinating book, first released in Brazil, has become a phenomenom world over. "The Calling" is the first book in a trilogy, and reflects upon man's position in modern society and that affects dreams, ambitions, and desires. A very interesting book that is timely for today.
