Albuquerque TV News Director Casey Brandt would like to forget her best friend's wedding day. She missed dessert, hiked half a mile in high heels, ran her stockings, got dumped by her boyfriend, and wound up at the morgue identifying one of the guests.
Fortunately for police, Casey spotted a suspect—a drug dealer who killed before and got away with it. But he spotted her, too. Detectives urge her to keep a low profile while they find the proof to nail him. But she and her friends try to turn the wheels of justice more quickly.
