Mystery Woman Sleuth | Mystery Cozy
One of the mainstays of Prescott’s Antiques and Appraisals
has always been the cheerful and helpful assistant,
Gretchen, who turned up unexpectedly just as Josie was
setting up shop in New Hampshire. Gretchen has always been
so dependable that it seems odd when she doesn’t show up
for work one day. Surprise soon turns to alarm when a dead
body is found in Gretchen’s house, with Gretchen the prime
suspect. How much does Josie know about Gretchen,
anyway? Enough to believe she isn’t capable of murder, so
Josie, with a crack team of antiques appraisers at her
side, sets out to find the real killer and bring Gretchen
home safely, no matter the cost.

Re: Killer Keepsakes
That's because women are so busy multi-tasking that the only time to contemplate is when we are sleeping! (Karin Tillotson 10:50am April 21, 2009)
Oh, the things we solve while in the throes of sleep. If only life worked out as planned, but would that leave enough room or space for the unexpected. As a kid, I remember the cat insisted on attention by dropping bobby pins on the dresser until I got up and hid them again. (Alyson Widen 11:12am April 21, 2009)
However you do it, you do it so well! Looking forward to Killer Keepsakes. (Karen Barnett 11:42am April 21, 2009)
I've often found the same thing to be true. If I'm stuck on how to write a line, I'll wake up in the middle of the night with just the write answer! (LuAnn Morgan 12:30pm April 21, 2009)
The shower is also a great place to solve problems. (Shannon Scott 12:39pm April 21, 2009)
The best ideas come to me when I'm nowhere near the computer or pen/paper. Like when I'm changing diapers, or waiting to pick up my son from school. Great post, Jane! (Amy Alessio 1:29pm April 21, 2009)
When I'm cleaning or driving! That's when I solve problems. LOL (JoAnn White 6:54pm April 21, 2009)
If it works for you, who cares. My idea can come at any time - I never know. Unfortunately, if I don't write it down almost immediately there is a good chance I won't remember when I need it. For 2 days I've thought of something I need to search on the internet. Haven't written it down and when I sit down at the computer , can't for the life of me remember what it is. Look forward to checking out your books. (Patricia Barraclough 10:11pm April 21, 2009)
