Former New York Times reporter and critic Sarah Boxer
travels through the blogosphere (roughly 71 million blogs)
and finds some masterpieces along the way. Among the
bloggers in the anthology are:
an 18-year old woman
in Singapore who likes pink, a lot an editor of American
dictionaries who picks apart the freshest words of the day
a Marine Corps lieutenant who was stationed in Fallujah
in 2006 an illustrator who draws a tiny saga of a rodent
and a ball of crap
Revealing and deceptive, grand and
niggling, worldly and parochial, these blogs comprise a
snapshot of life on the wild, wild Web.

Re: Ultimate Blogs
I think that this book would make for some interesting reading. Because I do volunteer work one day a week, I'm looking at different blogs all the time for ideas. Sometimes I strike a weird site, and have a good laugh in the process. Other times I find the site utterly fascinating, and check back on it for updates. I would love to get my hands on this book to see what "gems" Sarah uncovered, since she really ran the gamut of sites with this book. Thank you for having the patience to sift through it all, and bringing it to us!! (Peggy Roberson 9:13am May 8, 2011)
