Kian is determined to prove he's changed. Joy is determined not to notice.
Only one thing stands between Joy Brady and a quiet December at Snowcap Ridge Outlet Mall: Kian Van Adler, her new boss and former high school bully.
Kian Van Adler wants to claim his inheritance, but to do so, he has to spend December helping Joy run the mall. When he lays eyes on her cute, curvy body for the first time in twelve years, he suddenly realizes he’d underestimated her in high school. What he didn’t underestimate? Her hatred for him.
He’s checking his list. She’s checking her tropes.
With the mall in the throes of Christmas chaos, Kian needs to prove he’s a green‑flag hero, so when Santa gets sick, he steps into the red suit, ready to show Joy he’s changed.
And Kian Van Adler in a Santa suit might be the sexiest thing Joy has ever seen. The bully trope gives way to forced proximity, snowballs, stolen kisses, and chemistry neither expected. But when the one‑bed trope threatens her carefully guarded heart, Joy has to decide whether the boy she loved to hate has become the man she can trust and love.
Then Joy discovers Kian’s secret, and she fears their Christmas romance could end in a spectacular third‑act breakup. Kian has one last chance to show her that the boy she hated is gone and the man she’s falling for is here to stay.
One mall. One month. One giant Christmas miracle.
Inclusion: The heroine uses forearm crutches and AFOs due to Charcot‑Marie‑Tooth disease.
