A dying world. A silent blue star. Two enemies forced to choose the fate of a galaxy.
For centuries, the galaxy has feared Procyx—the EndStar—a mysterious blue star foretold in ancient Mhyrnian texts. The star itself never moves, yet entire systems collapse around it, erased without warning.
Now the planet Arghol is next.
Federation officer Martin Palmer has spent years evacuating doomed worlds, saving who he can before the darkness arrives.
Exhausted and longing for home, he plans to leave with the final transports—until those he was sent to rescue refuse evacuation.
Their leader is Gaultor, a Mhyrnian shaman exiled from his own people and hardened by generations of war with the Federation. His followers would rather die than trust the empire that once hunted them.
But as Arghol falls into shadow and time runs out, Palmer and Gaultor are forced into an uneasy alliance.
Because if the prophecies of Procyx are true, the destruction sweeping the galaxy may not be random at all.
And the truth may rest with the one man Palmer can barely trust.
